Cookie Policy

Last updated: 20 April 2025

This page explains how Kindredpage uses cookies on its website — what they are, why we use them, and how you can manage your own preferences. We have tried to write this plainly rather than in legal terms.

If you have questions about how we handle your data more broadly, the Privacy Policy covers that in full. You can also reach us at [email protected].

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to remember your preferences, and to give site owners basic information about how people use the site.

Cookies do not contain personal information on their own — they are identifiers that allow a server to recognise a returning browser. Some cookies exist only for the duration of a session and are deleted when you close the browser. Others remain on the device until they expire or you delete them.

Kindredpage is a studio website for family album workshops and personal catalog services. We do not sell advertising or build marketing profiles. The cookies we use reflect that limited scope.

Cookies we use

Essential cookies

Always active — cannot be disabled

These cookies are needed for the website to function. They manage your cookie consent preferences (stored in your browser's localStorage), allow the contact form to operate, and keep the session stable as you move between pages.

Storage key: cookieConsent  ·  Type: localStorage  ·  Duration: Persistent until cleared

Analytics cookies

Optional

Analytics cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are visited, how long people stay, and where they come from. This information is used in aggregate to improve the site. We may use Google Analytics for this purpose.

Provider: Google Analytics  ·  Duration: Up to 2 years

Marketing cookies

Optional

These cookies support advertising measurement and retargeting. If we run advertising campaigns, conversion tracking (for example, via Google Ads or Meta Pixel) may place cookies to understand whether a visit followed an advertisement.

Providers: Google Ads, Meta  ·  Duration: Up to 90 days

Preference cookies

Optional

Preference cookies remember choices you have made — such as your region or language setting — so that you do not need to re-select them on each visit. These are functional and not used for advertising purposes.

Type: localStorage / first-party  ·  Duration: Up to 1 year

Your preferences

Use the toggles above to set your preferences, then save. You can also accept or decline all optional cookies at once. Changes take effect immediately and are stored in your browser.

Preferences saved

Cookie duration

Cookies fall into two broad duration categories:

Session cookies

These exist only while your browser is open. They are deleted automatically when you close the browser tab or window. We use session cookies for basic site operation.

Persistent cookies

These remain on your device until either their set expiration date passes or you delete them manually. Our analytics and marketing cookies, where used, fall into this category.

Third-party cookies

Where we use third-party services, those services may place their own cookies on your device. We do not control the cookies placed by third parties. The services we may use include:

  • Google Analytics — site usage statistics. Google's cookie policy: policies.google.com
  • Google Ads — conversion measurement for any advertising campaigns we run
  • Meta (Facebook) — advertising measurement, where the Meta Pixel is active
  • Microsoft Bing — Bing Ads conversion tracking, where active

You can manage or opt out of third-party advertising cookies through tools such as the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out.

On mobile devices, cookie settings are usually found under the browser's main settings menu, within a Privacy or Security section. The steps differ by browser and operating system. If you use Chrome on Android or Safari on iOS, the desktop instructions above provide a close guide to the options available — the labels are similar in the mobile apps.

Your rights and choices

Withdraw consent at any time. You can change your cookie preferences using the toggles above at any time. Changes take effect on your next page load. Your previous consent record is overwritten.

Use your browser settings. In addition to the controls on this page, your browser gives you direct control over all cookies. See the browser instructions above.

What disabling cookies affects. Disabling essential cookies may cause parts of the site to behave unexpectedly — for example, your cookie consent preference may not be remembered. Disabling analytics, marketing, or preference cookies does not affect your ability to browse the site or enquire about sessions.

Ask a question. If you have any questions about how we use cookies, please write to [email protected] or call the studio on +60 3-2143 6285.
